The phrase “in Christ” is found many times in the New Testament.
It defines who we are in our relationship with God in and through
our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.“Therefore,if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things
have become new.all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself
through Jesus Christ,and given us the ministry of reconciliation,that is,
that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself,not imputing their
trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation”
(2 Corinthians 5:17-19)
Heidelberg Catechism writes, “What is your only comfort in life and death?
That I am not my own, but belong with my body and soul, both in life and in
death,to my faithful Savior Jesus Christ.He has fully paid for all my sins
with His precious blood, and has set me free from all the power of the devil.
He also preserves me in such a way that without the will of my heavenly Father
not a hair can fall from my head; indeed,all things must work together for my
salvation.Therefore, by His Holy Spirit He also assures me of eternal life and
makes me heartily willing and ready from now on to live for Him.”In-Christ

and nationality.We are called to glorify God by sharing the gospel and true
meaning of life in Christ Jesus to our community and beyond (Matthew 28:19-20)
